In addition, two current volunteer contributors have taken on new roles:

2021 ANNUAL ENROLLMENT IS OCT. 26 – NOV. 20, 2020 The Intel Retiree Annual Enrollment guide was delivered around Oct. 19 and details were made available October 26, 2020, on the Intel Benefits Center website, www.intel.com/go/myben, or call 1-877-GoMyBen (466-9236).
By now you have received your 2021 Annual Enrollment Guide and may have had a chance to review the details. The IRO web site has information that will guide you through the new offerings, the changes and provide links, as well as helpful FAQs and a direct phone line to the Welcome team from Anthem. Additionally, IRO’s Medicare Resources site has added new short, concise articles that will help dispel some of the myths and provide a guide to the language of Medicare and supplemental insurance plans. The site will also direct you to analytic tools to compare various Medicare plans as well as analytic tools to compare coverage with Anthem. |

KEEP YOUR ADDRESS UP TO DATE WITH INTEL It is critical you have a current mailing address, telephone number, and/or email address on record with Intel for at least 18 months to receive tax and benefit information in a timely manner. VOLUNTEERING AND DONATIONS (BENEVITY) – Ben Manny & Annette Bachmeier, Co-chairs
2020 COLORADO WILDFIRES DISASTER RELIEF CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED Intel has launched a 2020 Colorado Wildfires Disaster Relief campaign. This campaign is NOT considered part of the U.S. Donation Matching annual giving limit of $10,000 and is available until 5:00 p.m. (Pacific) Nov 19th or until the campaign match cap of $50,000 is met. ROUND TWO PAYOUT REPORT POSTED Intel Involved 2019 volunteer hour reports for rounds one and two are now POSTED HERE. A third and final round is targeted in November. |
IMPORTANT END-OF-YEAR MATCHING PROGRAM DEADLINES Volunteer Matching Program: The final date to report 2020 Intel Involved hours is January 15, 2021. Hours must be logged to a specific cause using your Benevity account to be eligible for a 2021 payout to the cause. Complete details are posted here on the IRO website. Donation Matching Program: Donations made through Benevity or requests for matches made directly to a cause must be made before the program closes at 3:00p.m. PST on December 31, 2020. Keep in mind this program has an annual, calendar year matching budget cap. If this budget cap is reached on or before the program closes, all matching as defined within the normal program guidelines will cease until the program reopens the following year on January 4, 2021. Donations or match requests made when the program reopens will come from your 2021 annual $10,000 annual matching cap. |
