The Intel Retiree Organization (IRO) is a U.S. focused organization of Intel retirees that opt-in to membership. A Leadership Team, made up of Intel retirees who volunteer their time to assist other Intel retirees, manages the organization.
What IRO provides to Intel Retirees:
- We provide a free (no dues) network of Intel retirees that volunteer time to assist other Intel retirees in navigating the Intel retirement experience
- We maintain strategic relationships with Intel to provide retiree feedback, identify benefit support gaps, and identify Intel expert resources to assist retirees in achieving resolution to their issues
- We provide a channel from Intel to retirees to keep them abreast of important information, deadlines, and changes that impact retirees
- We provide an @intelretiree.com email address that is required for some discounts. read our email redirect page for more details
- We help retirees understand and utilize their retiree benefits
- We provide routine communication about Intel retiree benefits, news, volunteering, donations and social interaction. Communications are provided through a variety of channels, such as a monthly newsletter, our website, focused emails, webinars & forums
- We facilitate networking opportunities, including social events and Intel subsidized annual dinners at major sites
- We host a members-only Facebook Group where you can interact with fellow retirees, exchange ideas and pass along news and tips
- We connect Intel retirees with Intel strategic direction and news, including arranging for Intel executive speakers at annual dinners
- We provide help navigating the wealth of retiree information, including finding the appropriate Intel contacts. Send questions to our mailbox (that is monitored daily) to ask questions of retirees who have gone before you
- We provide limited (non-retiree benefits) support to our international colleagues
- We maintain a confidential email list of members
What IRO Does NOT provide:
- We do not provide support for former Intel employees who are not official retirees
- With the exception of Intel programs, we do not promote, endorse or sponsor any program or organization
- It is not within our charter to help find jobs or new careers after Intel
