Intel Alumni Network Launches New Global Field Sales Chapter
Those of us who spent all or a portion of our Intel careers working directly with OEM, ISV, system integrator, channel or G2000 customers recall the many personal, professional and social relationships that we formed with our colleagues in the field and the factory. Many of us have maintained at least some of those relationships after leaving Intel, and would welcome the opportunity to reconnect with other alumni.
As a global, virtual IAN chapter, field sales alumni will have access to news about former colleagues around the world, what paths they have pursued since leaving Intel, and upcoming events being hosted by other chapters which field sales alumni are invited to attend. “We’re very interested in creating regional chapters where we can create face-to-face social and professional development events,” said Howard Jacob, IAN’s Field Sales Chapter Lead. “While these may start as larger Eastern, Midwest and West Coast chapters in the US, our goal would be to be able to have chapters that serve major metropolitan areas like New York, Boston, Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles where there is a sufficient concentration of alumni. With the support of local geo leads in Latin America, EMEA, APAC, and IJKK, we would like to follow a similar strategy in those geographies as well”.
We hope you will join us, and that you will also help us reach out to our field alumni within your personal and professional networks to make them aware of this new Chapter and invite them to join our group. If you are already a member of the Intel Alumni Network, simply log in at and join the Global Field Sales Chapter. If you are not yet a member of IAN, please use the registration link on the login page to register, and we will get you signed up.
I invite your suggestions on how to make our Chapter a success, and deliver the value that you desire by participating. Please contact me at hij2001@gmail.com with your ideas.
Regards,
Howard Jacob, Chapter Lead
