There are many things to learn about Medicare programs and the IRO website has a few resources to begin that process.

Great info includes specific information on how to initially sign up for Medicare. Enrolling in Medicare Parts A & B at age 65 is the starting point. If you are working at or after age 65, check out the link to a list of special situations you can use to determine whether you should apply at age 65 or not. We also include links to state Medicare support sites.
Once you sign up for Medicare Parts A & B you should decide if you want a drug plan (Part D) and/or a supplemental Medigap insurance plan, or an Advantage Plan (Part C).
