Volunteer Events

Call for Volunteers – SeniorTechPal

SeniorTechPal is a 501c3 charitable organization whose mission is to bring joy to the world by simplifying technology for seniors. It’s active all over the West Coast, including Hillsboro and Beaverton, Oregon.

Seniors are frequently mystified by and afraid of their Smartphones – iPhone or Android – and occasionally by their PCs/Macs. Their questions are mostly simple. Some examples:

  • How do I send a picture using Text/SMS?
  • How do I connect to Wi-Fi?
  • How to connect Bluetooth headphones?
  • What do I do if I suspect Spam?

Please consider volunteering. You don’t need to be an expert. You just have to be comfortable using the devices you own. As volunteers, we frequently help each other out.

Volunteer opportunities are ongoing. To sign up, please visit intel.benevity.org and view SeniorTechPal on Benevity for opportunities to volunteer at the Hillsboro Senior Center and Beaverton City Library.

If you have questions, please reach out to Judi Goldstein (judigoldstein@seniortechpal.org)
