The Intel Foundation worked with Employee Resources Groups (ERGs) to identify 11 impactful non-profit organizations to spotlight. Each month a spotlighted campaign will be featured on your Benevity’s My Dashboard page and posted as an announcement on the IRO homepage. Benevity will also email Intel Retiree account holders describing that month’s campaign.
Donations to the campaign can be made through the Benevity site. During the month of the campaign, a match request can also be submitted for donations made directly to the spotlighted cause. Please note the uploaded receipt for a match request must be valid and contain the required information (see guidelines page 9).
Here are some additional details:
- Donation Limits: These campaigns enable all global employees and U.S. retirees to donate any amount, up to the $250,000 total campaign budget, for each monthly campaign.
- Matching Benefits: Contributions made during these campaigns are separate from the regular annual match cap of $5,000, meaning you can increase your community impact without impacting your personal choice matching funds.
- Monthly Campaign Period: Monthly Spotlight Campaigns will run January through November. Each campaign will close at 5:00 pm (Pacific) on the last day of the month or once the campaign budget of $250,000 is met, whichever comes first.
- Match Requests Honored: A match request submitted for the Spotlighted cause during the campaign will be matched from the separate campaign matching cap, provided it has a valid receipt. Donor Advised Fund grants to the spotlighted campaign will be matched provided the DAF receipt confirms the grant has been approved and given to the cause during the campaign.
- After the Campaign is Over: Donations to the spotlighted cause revert to normal donation guidelines.
