Encore Career Fellowship Program
Intel officially suspended its corporate-sponsored Encore Career Fellowships for retirees effective January 1, 2025. U.S. employees who are eligible to retire no longer have the option of being Intel sponsored Encore Fellows as they transition into retirement.  However retirees are still welcome to apply for Encore Fellowships directly through the  FedCap Encore Fellowship Program.

Work host PAID Encore Fellowships
These Encore Fellowships are paid by the organization that is hosting the Encore Fellow instead of being sponsored by Intel. You’ll complete a high impact, capacity-building project, while learning about social purpose work and developing new contacts and resources. Fellows earn a stipend of $25,000 for a 1000-hour commitment, typically six to twelve months, half to full-time.

These Fellowships are an excellent way to apply your work experience to advance a cause you are passionate about.  The Encore Fellowship program has matched thousands of retirees with causes that fit their experience with a fulfilling fellowship.  More details are found on this Encore Program Webpage and in this Intel Alumni webinar.
