Oregon Site Earth Month Events

April 20, 2023

This April, for Earth Month, volunteer to help take care of Oregon, the state we love so much!  Remember to track your hours.  Each hour tracked in Benevity has the chance to be matched $10/hr by the Intel Foundation.

If you can’t join us in person to volunteer, you can give to the Wetlands Conservancy, SOLVE, and the Tualatin Riverkeepers as Oregon’s Sustainability

Community Impact causes. When you donate on Benevity, Intel will double your impact by matching your donation 1:1!

Friday, April 21, 9:00-12pm at Dirksen Nature Park

Help remove invasive species and restore the habitat: Join Tualatin Riverkeepers at Dirksen Nature Park in Tigard to help remove invasive species and restore the habitat. This is a multi-use park which includes wooded walking trails, a wetlands area, a playground, baseball fields, and much more! Tasks will include removal of invasive vegetation such as ivy and potentially putting down wood chips along pathways. (Number of volunteer spots: 25)

Reserve your volunteer spot here.

Saturday, April 22, 10-2pm, HF3 Parking lot

Tech Drive-thru: Give your old devices a second life by dropping them off at Hawthorn Farm 3 parking lot, and you don’t even have to get out of the car! Free Geek’s recycling and refurbishment program ensures that your device will be given to someone in need. Give your old laptops, tablets, and smartphones to a good cause and help keep our community connected.

Interested in volunteering at the tech drive? Sign up here.
