In response to the wildfires in Washington state and Canada, the Intel Foundation is launching an employee &retiree donation special match campaign to assist with relief efforts.
For the next two weeks, the Intel Foundation will match donations made by all blue badge employees and U.S. Retirees to identified organizations, up to $1,000 per employee. This special match opportunity is not considered part of the U.S. Donation Matching annual giving limit of $10,000 and is available until 11:59 p.m. (Pacific) September 6, 2023 or until the campaign match cap of $100,000 is met.
If you have a question about the process, please email Relief Funds.

All Donations made to this campaign are generally not US Tax Deductible
A note at bottom of this campaign states:
Donors will receive a donation acknowledgment for this gift, not an official tax receipt.
There is a broken link for more information. Intel has confirmed that all donations to this campaign including donation to a specific US cause will be processed by the UK Online Giving Foundations instead of the American Online Giving Foundation. From the IRS: “The IRS reminds donors that contributions to foreign organizations generally are not deductible.” Donations to Canadian registered charities may be deductible if the doner receives income from Canada. Please consult your Tax Advisor.”
