As 2021 approaches, your Intel Retiree Organization volunteers would like to take a moment to celebrate 2020 and wish you Happy Holidays!

This has been a challenging year for all of us. Thank you to all who contributed to our disaster relief funds with a donation or contributed your time as a volunteer. Virtual volunteer opportunities were offered for the first time this year and many of you took advantage of distance volunteering. In addition, the number of hours and type of volunteer work eligible for matching donations expanded due to the great need in our communities for our help. There’s still time this year to make a donation or to volunteer a few hours!

Don’t forget that you, as Intel retirees, are eligible to take advantage of certain shopping opportunities. Check out the Employee Discount Program, or the Employee Purchase Plan (EPP) via the EPP Storefront.If you feel like giving a gift to your Intel Retiree Organization volunteers, give the gift of your time by volunteering to participate in Communications, Web Site Support, Volunteering & Donations or your Site Committee.

2020 MATCHING DONATION PROGRAM ENDS DECEMBER 31
NOTE: all donation matching requests must be submitted by 3:00p.m. PST on Thursday, December 31.
Donations and match request receipts for this program will not be accepted after December 31 – no exceptions. 2020 donations will not be eligible for a matching request in 2021. This program has an annual budget matching cap. If this budget cap is reached on or before the program closes, all matching will cease until the program reopens on January 4, 2021. Donations made directly to a cause or through Benevity BEFORE the program reopens are NOT eligible for a matching donation.

NO CHANGE FOR INTEL INVOLVED VOLUNTEER MATCHING PROGRAM DEADLINE
All 2020 volunteer hours must be logged using the Benevity Portal by January 15, 2021. This deadline and this program are not affected by the changes to the Donation Matching Program.
