Intel Retiree Annual Enrollment guide will be delivered after Oct. 19. Details will be available October 26, 2020, on the Intel Benefits Center website, www.intel.com/go/myben, or call 1-877-GoMyBen (466-9236).

STILL WAITING FOR ROUND 2 PAYOUT REPORT
Report for Round 2 checks mailed at the end of August will be posted on the IRO home page as soon as Intel receives it from Benevity.

HAVE YOU LOGGED YOUR VOLUNTEER HOURS CORRECTLY?
To be eligible for volunteer matching grants, you must log volunteer hours directly to an approved cause in the Benevity portal. Hours logged as “something else” in the Track Time form are NOT eligible for volunteer matching funds and can NO LONGER be moved to a cause after the annual deadline of January 15, 2021. Details are found here.

PNW WILDFIRE DISASTER RELIEF CAMPAIGN HITS SECOND TARGET
This campaign hit its first goal of raising $150,000 (donations plus matches) in less than two days. The target was doubled to $300,000 and this was also hit. Donations can still be made to the causes listed, but matches will now come from your annual $10,000 matching budget. The causes listed are found here.

INTEL INCREASES ELIGIBLE VOLUNTEER HOURS FOR EDUCATION DURING PANDEMIC
Until December 31, 2020 official Intel retirees may now log up to five hours per day for time spent on education. Hours should be tracked to the school the child attends. This applies to the retiree’s child/children as well as other children you may be instructing. For a complete list of other pandemic-related volunteer activities click here.

	ARIZONA: 2021 OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH STUDENTS IN THE STEM DISCOVERoom Jan. 11, 2021 – Dec. 13, 2021 Note: This opportunity is ON SITE IN 2021 Kyrene de la Colina Elementary School in Phoenix (Ahwatukee) needs volunteers (on site) during lunch recess to work with students in the DISCOVERoom. Come once or multiple times. Training is available.
	FOLSOM: Volunteer Board Member @ Animal Outreach of the Motherlode Jul. 16, 2020, 12:00 PM – Dec. 31, 2020, 11:59 AM PDT We welcome your interest in becoming a Board Member at Animal Outreach of the Motherlode in El Dorado County. We have several areas of opportunity that we are interested in filling.

	ARIZONA: 2020 AZ NIA PC Pals Aug. 3, 2020 – Dec. 31, 2020 Mentors wanted for communities of color The PC Pals Program facilitates an email exchange between students & Intel employee volunteers (monitored by the teacher).
	FOLSOM: PC Pals Fall 2020 @ Millers Hill Middle School Aug. 13, 2020 – Dec. 31, 2020 Send emails to 5th graders to share what working at Intel is like and to help them begin to think about how school prepares them for the working world.
	FOLSOM: PC Pals Fall 2020: Golden Hills School Aug. 17, 2020 – Dec. 31, 2020 PC Pals volunteer to correspond with local students via e-mail and serve as a weekly resource for advice and encouragement. Intel volunteers coach students through everything from current coursework to applying for colleges.
	OREGON: Digital TeachUP for Schools Apr. 1, 2020 – Dec. 31, 2020 Digital learning series teaching different skillsets to school kids during social distancing

NO ANNUAL DINNERS IN 2020
There will be no Intel-sponsored annual dinners in 2020 due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
