Question: I don’t know or can’t remember my @intelretiree.com email address. How can I find it?
Answer: Your @intelretiree.com email address was automatically generated based on the email you used when you signed up to become a member of the Intel Retiree Organization. As an example, if Brian Beck joined IRO using the email beckbrian@gmail.com, his Intel retiree email address would be beckbrian@intelretiree.com. For more information about your @intelretiree.com email address (what is it, why do you need it, etc.), please check out these FAQs.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING INTEL’S CATASTROPHIC RX HEALTH REIMBURSEMENT ACCOUNT (HRA) BENEFIT Retirees and your eligible dependents enrolled in a Medicare Part D Plan can take advantage of Intel’s Catastrophic Rx HRA. Intel has published a slide deck that details how to take advantage of this benefit and outlines the cost and formulary differences between IRMP with Rx and Catastrophic RX. | SURVIVING DEPENDENTS ELIGIBILITY If you are on IRMP and you pass, your surviving eligible dependents may continue coverage in IRMP and participate in SERMA. Go to the SPD Plan Summary, section 2 and 8 to understand the eligibility and process. Consider bookmarking this information and place it with your important papers. An Intel Retiree’s surviving spouse or significant other can request that their email be placed on the IRO membership email list when notifying IRO of the IRO member’s passing. Surviving spouse membership in the closed IRO Facebook Group is also available upon request and can be used to post information about the IRO member’s death, their obituary and service or celebration of life arrangements. |
MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PLANS OPEN ENROLLMENT JAN. 1 – MAR. 31, 2020 During this time, if you have a Medicare Advantage plan, you’ll be able to: switch to a different Medicare Advantage Plan; switch back to Original Medicare and apply for a Medicare Supplement plan; sign up for a Part D Prescription Drug plan, if you’re leaving an Advantage plan and will lose your drug coverage. | BENEVITY DONATION FEES VS DIRECT DONATION FEES The Donation Matching Program guidelines state all fees are deducted from Intel’s match but does not disclose the amount deducted. The fee consists of charges by the credit card  company or PayPal plus a charity support fee to cover Benevity’s costs. If no match is made the charity support fee is 2.9% and is deducted from your donation in addition to the credit card or PayPal fee. However, donating directly to the cause does not eliminate the processing fee. See True Cost of Charitable Giving for insights on a charity’s true costs to process direct donations. It may surprise you. |
