FROM THE BOARD
ASK IRO Mailbox Question: I purchased a new laptop with a free trial subscription to McAfee LiveSafe®. How can I renew my subscription for free when it expires? Answer: Follow these detailed instructions. If you already have a McAfee account with an email other than your @intelretiree.com email, you must set up a new one using your @intelretiree.com email to get LiveSafe® for free. If you have a McAfee account with your @intelretiree.com email but you’ve forgotten your password, it’s easy to get it reset. Once you are logged into your McAfee account, you can download the free software by clicking on the red “DOWNLOAD” button or “SEND LINK” to any device in your household. The expiration date of your software is displayed on your McAfee account web page. |

SERMA SURVEY RESPONSE In response to IRO’s SERMA survey conducted last year, Intel benefits made several changes to YSA (Your Savings Account) customer service. View those changes on our Healthcare News page. We have received very few escalations since these changes were made. You can continue to use the IRO mailbox (intelretiree@gmail.com) for your SERMA escalations and issues. |
REFRESHED IRO HEALTHCARE WEBSITE SECTION The healthcare benefits committee has been working on revising the Healthcare section of the IRO website to better direct retirees to content and resources. The refresh is now complete. Please take a moment to check it out. Go to the Intel Retiree Organization Website and explore the “Healthcare” tabs. Our hope is that Intel retirees can use the site to more easily find Intel documents and policies and get answers to their questions. Additionally, a new comprehensive set of SERMA FAQ’s has been generated to address issues uncovered in the SERMA survey. All Healthcare FAQs can be found here. |

MATCHING DONATION REQUEST WINDOW EXTENDED The Intel Foundation doubled the time window from 30 to 60 days for submitting a matching request. The window is from when a cause received your direct donation to when you request a match. The match request requires uploading an eligible receipt from the cause or from a Donor Advised Fund used to make the donation. This change was made last month and is reflected in the current Donation Matching Program guidelines found here. REMINDER THAT QUARTERLY CAPS FOR DONATION MATCHING WERE REMOVED LAST YEAR |
