MATCHING DONATION PROGRAM RESUMED JANUARY 6, 2020 The Intel Foundation’s Matching Donation Program will resume Jan 6, 2020. As previously announced, Intel has removed quarterly budget caps, but requests to match donations made directly to a cause must still be requested within 30 days from when the cause received the donation. Only donations made after Jan 6, 2020 are eligible for matching. DEADLINE FOR LOGGING INTEL INVOLVED 2019 HOURS IS JANUARY 15, 2020 It is important to log the hours on the non-profit’s Benevity page. However, if a cause is not currently eligible for Intel’s Volunteer Matching Program volunteer hours can still be logged/tracked to “no cause associated,” just be sure to include the organization name in the activity description so that Intel can attach the cause to the submission once the organization is approved. |

ARIZONA: Classroom support for basic computer skills for seniors Feb. 10, Feb. 12 and Feb. 14, 2020 – 9:30a.m.-12:30p.m. shifts available each day Trained Intel volunteers will be delivering basic computer skills to seniors from the Sun Lakes community. Volunteers are needed to assist the instruction by answering attendees’ questions. Bring your willingness to help, patience and a smile! |

ARIZONA: MLK Day of Service with HandsOn Greater Phoenix – Paint the home of a veteran in need Jan. 20, 2020; 8:00a.m. – noon Hands On Greater Phoenix is seeking 40 volunteers needed to paint the home (exterior only) of Mr. Eli Flores. He is an 85-year-old retired Phoenix police officer who also served in the US Army stationed in Korea. He lives alone in his home and has lived there for over 20 years and needs a hand to freshen up the exterior of his home. |

ARIZONA: Staff concessions booth at The Phoenix Open Waste Management Golf Tournament Shifts available Jan. 27 – Feb. 2, 2020 For the Phoenix Open Waste Management Golf Tournament United Food Bank/ Waste Not receives funding for every volunteer that commits to running the concession stand for 7 hours. 7 hours must be completed all in one day or it will not count. Volunteer one day and come back another day to enjoy the event! |
