HYATT LEGAL WILL NOT BE EXTENDED TO RETIREES
In Q2 of 2016 a retiree inquired about getting the Hyatt Legal program extended to retirees. Intel was initially encouraging about the idea and agreed to look at making this change – when they had the resources available to take on the project. After two-and-one-half years, Intel has recently decided that they will not fund this project.
Sorry, but if you want Hyatt Legal coverage in retirement, you’ll need to make that decision within 30 days of your retirement date and request portability. Retirees who take that action will receive a one-time invoice for 30 months to be paid upfront, with coverage ending after 30 months extension. This information is part of the Employee Retirement Checklist.
