| HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM YOUR INTEL RETIREE ORGANIZATION VOLUNTEERS! 2018 was a productive year for wrapping up improvements in areas identified by the 2016 survey of IRO members. The IRO website went through major changes that we “spotlighted” in the News Flash throughout the year. It was also up-leveled to be a secure (https) site. We held our first ever Webinar on Using Benevity and celebrated Intel’s 50th anniversary by sharing memories as a part of Intel’s “My Intel Stories” project. You may have noticed that we made your monthly News Flash more exciting and appealing by adding graphics and improving the layout. In addition, we were delighted to welcome new members to our existing group of dedicated volunteers that make this organization’s work happen. We remain committed to serving you in 2019. We wish all of you a very safe and happy holiday season!  |

| ASK IRO Mailbox Problem: The IRO Mailbox continues to see issues come through where official Intel retirees have trouble with the three-step process required to get your free McAfee LiveSafe software. All three steps must be completed to be successful. Solution: We have created a new web page that walks you step-by-step through the three-step process. Give it a try and let us know if you are still having trouble. We’re determined to make these instructions completely user friendly. |

RETIREES RECEIVING A 2018 W2 FROM INTEL If you have moved and are expecting a W2 from Intel for 2018 your address change must be received by the end of the day Dec 14, 2018 to receive your W2 in a timely manner.To make changes to your personal employee data, please contact the Intel Contact Center at 1-800-238-0486 (Monday – Friday from 9:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. Pacific Time). |

MATCHING GIFTS BENEFIT PROGRAM WILL RESUME ON JANUARY 4, 2019
Due to a remarkable year of generosity by Intel participants the Employee Matching Gifts Program has reached its annual budget cap and matching is no longer available. All 2018 donations are no longer eligible for matching; this means you cannot request a match for a 2018 donation when matching resumes on January 4, 2019. In 2019, the program moves to a quarterly campaign model. More information is available here. There is NO change to the Intel Involved program.
INTEL INVOLED HOURS DEADLINE IS STILL JANUARY 15TH, 2019
Use the Benevity portal to log your Intel Involved hours. It easy to get a Benevity account but it takes a few days. Please contactsupport@benevity.org to create an account and obtain the required log in information.
Your non-profit also needs to be registered as Intel Involved eligible with Benevity BEFORE Intel Involved hours can be accredited. Retirees can nominate their causes using the easy form under “Quick Links” inside the Benevity portal. Additionally, causes can proactively search for themselves on the Benevity Causes Portal to initiate the process or contact the Charity Relations team at causes@benevity.org.
