FROM THE BOARD – Barb Frank, President
‘USING BENEVITY’ WEBINAR PILOT A HUGE SUCCESS We are pleased to report that the pilot webinar on ‘Using Benevity’ clearly demonstrated the usefulness of webinars to provide information and answer questions. All participants who gave us written feedback said it was worthwhile. We approached participant capacity of our Zoom account and asked and answered 40 questions. Here is summary information with links and email addresses for using Benevity if you have further questions. We don’t yet have approval from Intel to share the webinar recording, but we hope to provide it in the future. |
RETIREE CONTINGENT WORKFORCE PILOT PROGRAM UPDATE

ASK IRO Mailbox Question: I keep hearing about Benevity and Beneplace. What are they and what’s the difference? Answer: Both Benevity and Beneplace are vendors that Intel contracts with to provide services. Benevity is the vendor that provides the on-line tool for the Intel Involved Matching Grant Program (Volunteering) and the Intel Matching Gifts Program (Donations). Beneplace is the vendor that manages Intel’s Employee Discounts Program also available to Intel official retirees. Register for both to take advantage of your official retiree benefits. |

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY NON-PROFIT RECEIVED AN INTEL INVOLVED GRANT?
Intel Involved matching grants are paid out starting in Q2 the year AFTER the volunteer hours were performed. For 2017 submitted hours you need to check the current payout report that is posted here for your non-profit. The report is accumulative and includes hours submitted by both employees and retirees. No commitment of funds on behalf of Intel or the Intel Foundation should be made to any cause until the payout report has been published and made public. For specific questions about the payout status of a non-profit email support@benevity.com.
