RESULTS OF BOARD NOMINATIONS
The terms of our current Intel Retiree Organization Board officers were up at the end of 2016, so per our Charter and Bylaws, we asked for nominations via email in October. The only nominations that came in were from the current Board, who recommend that our current three officers remain for another two-year term. Those officers are:

Vicki Valens – Secretary
RETIREES RECEIVING A W2 FROM INTEL
Intel mails your W2 to the mailing address that they have on record for you as of the end of the previous year. It will be mailed by January 31st every year. If you have not received your W2 by the middle of February, you can call the Get HR Help 800 number (1-800-238-0486) to request a copy. If you have received your W2 and have questions, you can also request a W2 Breakdown Letter which details what was included in each box on your W2.
You will get through to a Get HR Help rep by selecting either the payroll option or option zero. Remember to use the voicemail/call back option if hold times are long.

IRO FACEBOOK MEMBERSHIP SURPASSES 1,000 MEMBERS!
Join other retirees on our IRO members only Facebook group. Just go to the IRO Facebook site and request membership. If your Facebook name is different than your IRO membership name, please send a note with that information to intelretiree@gmail.com. That allows our Facebook administrator to reconcile and accept your membership request. This is a great forum to share information, provide tips, discuss recommendations, and connect with your former co-workers. Just remember, if you have a retirement question or need help, sending a message to intelretiree@gmail.com is always your best bet.

INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY RECOGNITION
IRO was pleased that the US Intel retirees were included as part of this great opportunity to triple the impact of our donations to the non-profit communities. This opportunity was emailed to all IRO members on the same day it was announced to Intel employees. This event generated a lot of valuable feedback and input from our IRO members which will be used to continue to develop our program support with Intel.
