A MILLION THANKS TO OUR 1,000 SURVEY PARTICIPANTS! The Intel Retiree Organization (IRO) survey is done with 248 of you providing input to make this volunteer organization better. The response rate was an incredible 25%! That is sufficient to give us a 95% confidence level in the results, with a 6% margin of error. Your IRO volunteers are now analyzing the data and creating an action plan. Thank you for your help!
ASK IRO MAILBOX QUESTION: Is there a place where retirees can go to understand their Intel retirement benefits? ANSWER: Yes! Your Intel Retiree Organization (IRO) has created a website for that exact purpose at intelretiree.com. From the Benefits tab, select the Retirement Timeline to see your benefits listed on one page. If you still have questions, send an email to the IRO Mailbox where a volunteer will get back to you within 24 hours. |

HEALTH INSURANCE TERMS… GETTING READY FOR OPEN ENROLLMENT
When you are making health insurance decisions during the upcoming open enrollment, there are some terms you need to understand in order to compare plans. Go to Healthcare.gov (the federal healthcare exchange website) to get the facts. The general reality for all plans is the higher the monthly premium, the lower the out-of-pocket costs will be.
HEALTH INSURANCE QUESTIONS RELATED TO OPEN ENROLLMENT
We know we have many new retirees coming up on open enrollment for the first time as retirees. Our health and benefits committee has assisted retirees with getting their questions answered for more than ten years. If you have general questions related to IRMP, SERMA, and the open enrollment topic, please send them in to our mailbox. We’ll summarize the questions received with responses in our next Newsflash (including links whenever possible). Specific detailed questions should continue to go to : Intel Health Benefits Center at 877-466-9236, Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Pacific), our article in the next Newsflash will focus on knowledge sharing.
