ATTENTION ENCORE FELLOWS
As your Encore Fellowship draws to an end, do you want to keep using your Intel skills to make a difference in an organization? Please contact the IRO mailbox (intelretiree@gmail.com) to explore joining the IRO board or a committee. We have roles that:
- Work with Intel on current and future retiree benefits
- Play an integral part in connecting retirees to volunteer opportunities
- Establish and maintain relationships with Intel site committees
- Grow and sustain a fresh and complete website
- Communicate key information to IRO members

AON HEWITT RETIREE EXCHANGE CONCERNS ADDRESSED
The Intel Retiree Organization (IRO) shared concerns posted to the IRO Facebook group with the Intel Retiree Health Program Manager. The issues were regarding their experience with the Aon Hewitt Retiree Health Exchange. Intel has been meeting regularly with Aon Hewitt to make improvements. Some actions have already been implemented to improve your experience.

As a reminder, the IRO mailbox (intelretiree@gmail.com) is staffed by IRO volunteers who respond within 24 hours and who elevate issues to the Intel health/benefits representatives and questions/experiences should be directed to the mailbox.
HEALTH INSURANCE DEADLINE REMINDER
Non-Medicare retirees through Dec. 11 and Medicare eligible retirees through Dec. 3 can set up an appointment by contacting the Aon Retiree Exchange by calling the Intel Health Benefits Center at 877-466-9236 and say “Aon Retiree Health Exchange.” Select the “set up new appointment” option.

HARD DEADLINE IS JANUARY 15, 2016 FOR REPORTING INTEL INVOLVED VOLUNTEER HOURS
Last year only 167 retirees reported Intel Involved hours. Volunteer hours performed for most 501(c)3 public charities will count toward a $10 per hour matching grant. Click here for link to the on-line reporting form and further details on the Intel Involved Retiree Benefit program.

- Don’t forget about the Arizona public school tax credit for 2015. Click here for information on how to get it matched 50% to the school.
- Kyrene Traditional Academy (KTA): Assist K-3rd grade students with reading and math facts or with their STEM program during the school day. KTA is the only Kyrene school to receive the Blue Ribbon status and one of the four schools in AZ to receive this distinction. Volunteers who are interested can contact Stephanie at 480-541-1500.
