HAVE YOU READ THE RETIREE CONTINGENT WORKFORCE ANNOUNCEMENT?
Your Board has been working on a key objective: “Building an Intel retiree community that is an asset to Intel and the communities in which we reside.” Intel put together this pilot program as a way to utilize the valued asset that they see retirees to be and we are very pleased to see its launch! Click here to read the announcement. Within the announcement, click on the link to KellyOCG for submitting your resume. Also find a link to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), along with answers from Intel. Use our mailbox (intelretiree@gmail.com) for questions about this or other benefits. ENCORE! ENCORE!
Intel’s Encore Fellowship program is alive and well in Oregon! Rod MacDow loved working at Intel – the highlight of his high-paced 42-year high-tech career. Read how Intel’s Encore Fellowship program was just the bridge Rod needed to transition to a rewarding retirement.
TROUBLE FINDING TIME TO VOLUNTEER?
Volunteering is one of those things that we all agree is worthwhile, but it doesn’t always find its way to the top of the list. It can sound vaguely intimidating or overwhelming, and sometimes the opportunity is inconvenient or isn’t quite what we had in mind. Meet one of our Intel retirees, Lori Davidson, who has volunteered her time with several organizations since retirement and has managed to find a way to balance it all.
RETIREES MAKE GREAT PC PALS
“PC Pals” is an email-based mentoring program created and administered by Intel. Grade school students are paired with Intel employees and retirees during the school year and exchange emails once or twice per week. Click here for more details and how to sign up for the start of fall classes.
