– Microsoft Discount for Employees Only

With the rollout of the new Advantage discount program, several retirees attempted to utilize the Microsoft employee discount on the new site. We, at IRO, received multiple inquires about how to get this discount to work for retirees. Intel has just responded regarding our question: “Are retirees eligible for the Microsoft discount on the Advantage discount site ?”. Unfortunately, the Microsoft discount is not available to retirees on the Advantage or the Passport discount programs. The decision was made by Microsoft to consistently administer their policy, which is to extend the discount to employees only.
