Folsom Site… We Need Your Help!
Toni Hallenbeck will be retiring from the Folsom site coordinator position. Her last contribution will be to put on the 2013 Folsom site retiree dinner. The Intel Retiree Organization would like to thank Toni for her work to help other Intel retirees at the Folsom site. We are interested in finding a site rep for the Folsom site who can represent the site on the Intel Retiree Organization Board. Time requirement is minimal. Send us an email if you’d like to be involved with great retirees and represent Folsom.

Where are the Intel Involved Payout Checks?
This is a frequent question received by our mailbox monitors. In prior years, checks were sent in the May/June time frame. This year many checks are still pending the receipt of the non-discriminatory compliance statements from the non-profit. This was mentioned in the May Newsflash which contained links to the affirmation statement and to a list of the non-profits that had received Q1 payments. As soon as Intel receives the payout report for Q2, it will be is now posted on the Intel Retiree Organization website. You can also check on the Intel Involved payout status of a specific non-profit by sending an email directly to the vendor.

BAY AREA – Guests were treated to a variety of wines and an intriguing combination of cheese, vegetables, dips, and fruits at our summer wine and cheese event hosted by Mike Barnes and his wife Pam. A picture perfect Sunday afternoon along with a beautiful home provided a great setting for a fun event. The attendees were a lively combination of Intel Retiree Organization members who attend many events mixed with some newcomers enjoying their first event. Many enjoyed reminiscing about the early days of Intel. It was a relaxing and delightful event for all.
ARIZONA – The Intel Retiree Organization worked with the Intel Foundation to provide matching donations for the 19 Prescott, AZ, Granite Mountain Hotshots who died fighting the Yarnell fire. Thanks to all who contributed and to the Intel Foundation for their generous support.
