OPEN ENROLLMENT ENDS NOVEMBER 9
We are in the open enrollment period for the Intel Retiree Medical Plan which runs to November 09, 2012. Do not miss this opportunity to consider your options for your healthcare coverage. If you are looking to understand your options and considering purchasing insurance on the open market, we have three insurance brokers (AZ, OR and CA) who retirees have used with good results. To receive contact information for these brokers, send us an email along with your site. If you live in other states, help may be available through the insurance commission of your state. Go to this website for more information. Check our July News Flash for additional links to resources.
NEW METLIFE DENTAL IS A ONE-TIME OPPORTUNITY-DEADLINE NOVEMBER 15
Recently an Intel retiree asked if the new MetLife Dental plan was a now-or-never offering. This will be a one-time opportunity for current retirees. New retirees will have the option of enrolling upon retirement. MetLife is looking into changing this policy so that people can enroll at a later date, but no timeframe is available yet.

SOCIAL MEDIA SURVEY RESULTS
Last month many retirees responded to our survey about publishing email addresses of members. Although the overall response was very positive, there were a number of concerns regarding privacy and the Board decided not to publish email addresses. However, you can choose to make yourself known to other members. To make this possible, we have a presence on various social networks. On Facebook, we have a closed group: Intel Retiree Organization. Contact Caspar Helmer, Intel Retiree Organization Secretary and International Coordinator with questions, suggestions or concerns.
