LOOK FOR INTEL INVOLVED CHECKS ARRIVING IN MAY
For those 118 retirees who turned in 2011 volunteer hours, your non-profits will be receiving their Intel Involved checks this month. Almost $38,000 will be donated by the Intel Foundation for these reported hours. In the past, checks were sent with no explanation of why the organization was getting this money from Intel. We recommend that you ensure your organizations are familiar with the program and recognize this added bonus for your volunteer efforts. The Intel foundation has continued the Intel Involved program in 2012. For details on how you can participate visit our website.

YOUR BIG CHANCE TO BECOME A WRITER
Have you ever dreamt of becoming a writer? Does the idea of being a reporter sound intriguing? Here’s your chance! The Communications Committee is looking for volunteers to write articles on topics relevant to our retirees. Ideally, we would have at least one writer/reporter located at each site to cover events and report back to the rest of us! Writers would attend a monthly meeting of the Communications Committee led by Debbie Watson. Don’t worry! We are all retired, so the time commitment is minimal!
