Junior Achievement Classroom Volunteer Opportunities
Facilitate JA programs that provide our youth financial literacy, entrepreneurial and workforce readiness skills. Recruiting Junior Achievement volunteers to conduct classroom programs at Sacramento area schools. Depending upon the grade level, programs require 5-8 visits, with each visit ranging 30-45 minutes. The volunteer and teacher determine the dates of the JA program visits. Each volunteer will receive a kit containing instructor guides and student materials needed to facilitate the sessions. In addition, every new JA volunteer will receive a brief 35 minute orientation by the JA staff to help prepare the volunteer before going into the classroom.

If you are interested in a volunteer assignment, please contact Intel retiree Lisa Culver, who currently is the JA Program Manager. For additional information, please reference the www.jasac.org website.
