Help Produce a Local Film Festival in the Bay Area

The Legacy Film Festival on Aging showcases the best films from around the world that celebrate older adulthood and deal with the challenges & triumphs of aging. This 501(c)3 organization believes that through film, the Festival explores the rich and complex fabric of the lives of older adults, and presents artistic depictions of those who have adapted with creativity, courage, and growth.

The festival organizers are gearing up for the 2012 LFFOA to be held in June or July and need local volunteers to help with a variety of tasks. Volunteers will be able to attend the festival and have their hours count towards an Intel Involved matching grant to LFFOA. For additional information click here or contact the Executive Director, Sheila Malkind, MA MPH.
