Your Intel Retiree Board meets quarterly with Intel’s Retiree Benefits liaision to cover health care insurance issues that have been brought to his attention and pass along updates on benefit changes to the Intel Retirees.
10/22/2011 Met Life’s voluntary benefits programs – Long Term Health Care
Intel retirees have access to this voluntary benefit (that means you pay for this insurance yourself, although you can apply for reimbursement from your SERMA). It is available at this current time through the Intel program, but we believe that access will end this year (2011).
Retirees have access to the Auto and Home Insurance and Long-Term Care Insurance through the MetLife voluntary benefit programs.
Auto and Home Insurance is available at a group discount.
Long-term Care Insurance is designed to provide a variety of long-term care needs such as, skilled care in a nursing home, assisted living facility, or custodial care in a home setting.
