FORMER INTEL CEO PAUL S. OTELLINI DIES AT AGE 66
Paul’s Memorial Service has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 10, 2017
Location:  St Ignatius Church, 650 Parker Ave San Francisco. Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made by check payable to “UCSF Foundation” and note in the memo line for the Dyslexia Center. Please also note the gift is in memory of Paul Otellini. Checks should be mailed to: UCSF Foundation, Box 45339, San Francisco, CA 94145-0339. ANNUAL DINNERS HAVE ARRIVED!
The Bay Area, Massachusetts and Oregon hold their annual dinners in October, followed by Arizona in November and Folsom in December. There is still time to RSVP for the Bay Area, Arizona and Folsom. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to enjoy an evening with fellow retirees and hear from an Intel speaker. COMING SOON – HOT TOPIC FORUMS
Based on feedback, on October 23, IRO will begin a pilot of forums, where you can find and discuss information on hot topics. We will start with a timely topic, Finding Healthcare after COBRA. This pilot will coincide with Open Enrollment, kicking off at the time of the Annual Enrollment Guide distribution. On October 23, you will receive an email from the Intel Retiree Organization with login instructions for accessing the forum.

The 2018 Retiree Benefits Annual Enrollment is open November 1–30, 2017. In addition to the guide, which will arrive the week of October 22, Intel will use www.intel.com/go/myben and www.intel.com/employee/retiree to keep you updated on important 2018 annual enrollment information. Answer: No. The form was down for a couple of weeks in September, but has been fixed now. You can find it at https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/forms/matching-grants-program-contact-us.html. Thank you for volunteering and remember, you have until 1/15/2018 to report your 2017 volunteer hours under the Intel Involved Matching Grants Program.

  • All 2017 Intel Involved volunteer hours must be reported by January 15th, 2018. Retiree hours are reported using this website form. 
  • Donations for the Matching Gifts programs need to be made or match requested by 12/31/2017 to ensure the matches are from your 2017 matching limits of $5,000 for charitable organizations and $5,000 for educational organizations.
